HEAD OF FINANCE (ENGLISH) FOR ZUG

Our client is a successful global player in Zug. On his behalf we are looking for 


Your Challenge

  • Leading of an Accounting team
  • Coaching and Motivation of the team
  • Ensure that financial records are maintained under compliance with company policies, IFRS, Swiss Gaap
  • Manage General Ledger processing including data import / export for accounting
  • Responsible to execute Balance Sheets and Reconciliations 
  • Maintain hedge accounting and ensure proper related compliance
  • Execute fair value accounting for derivative instruments
  • Responsible for proper cost allocation for various P&L 
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports for the management
  • Driving development of solutions for data processing implementations
  • Organize workflows for the accounting team
  • Support of establishing and implementing the Internal Control System for various Finance functions; ensure controls are being executed aligned
  • responsible for supervision of payment processings in the team
  • Preparing the Management reporting package
  • Responsible for Variance analysis
  • Supporting the CFO with Financial Planning
  • Responsible for inhouse Audits of the Year End accounts
  • implement internal processes
  • Responsible for internal audits
  • project-related tasks


Your qualifications

  • bachelor or master degree or federal diploma in Finance / Banking / Economy or other
  • ACCA, CIMA or other relevant studies / diploma
  • around 10-15 years of Chief / Senior Accounting experience in a raw material company
  • Audit experience either in a big4 or a company is a strong advantage
  • Teamleadership skills
  • Experience in Treasury / Cash Management 
  • English excellent skills
  • strong IT skills (Excel) / Navision
  • highly analytical thinking

  • Revenue Analysis
  • Develop and prepare managerial, financial and group reports
  • Assistance in monthy / annual accounting closings
  • Reporting to the CFO / Chief Accountant / CEO
  • Preparation of Excel sheets
  • Analysis of Forecasts
  • Budget modifications
  • Collaboration with the CFO / Finance Manager
  • Collaboration with Interfaces internally & companies across countries
  • preparing project related analysis
  • Cashflow Forecasts / Cashflow Reports

 

Your Qualifications

  • commercial apprenticship  /  Bachelor in Finance / Banking, Economy or similar
  • around 4-5 years of relevant experience as a Controller / Financial Analyst, Accounting or similar
  • we prefer candidate's who worked in smaller, unstructured entities
  • strong IT skills (Excel)
  • excellent English skills
  • fast learner, very precise way of working

MAXI SALARY: 150K

Our client is a successful trading house in Switzerland. On his behalf we are looking for a professional to trade from Zug or remote and build up the market.



Your Challenge

  • develop and implement the GRAIN trading 
  • attain Board approval for execution 
  • build up the new business division
  • strong collaboration with Switzerland
  • build wide reaching personal relationships / connect with your network
  • connect with suppliers, customers, storage owners, shippers
  • develop partnership agreements across countries
  • ensure best practice is applied
  • negotiate and and conclude long-term relationships / contracts
  • identify and perform due diligence on potential acquisition targets
  • LOCATION: you can work from remote or in the office in Zug

 


Your Qualifications

  • bachelor degree / master degree
  • several years of experience as a GRAIN trader 
  • strong network / collaborations in this field
