Your Challenge
 

  • Assistance of the Management Team
  • Manage calendars and meeting schedules
  • Coordinate business visits (outbound / inbound)
  • Draft meeting agendas & protocols and ensure follow-ups
  • Organise the office administration
  • Travel bookings around the world 
  • Schedule complex travel itineraries 
  • Liaise with Executive Assistants in other countries to arrange meetings, events
  • Communicate with key suppliers, customers around the globe to schedule meetings & trips
  • Organisation of team events and client events
  • Printing marketing materials
  • Process expenses and invoices according to policies
  • Organise catering bookings, including conference calls and video conferences
  • be responsible for couriering documents & mail distribution
  • Holiday absence monitoring using tracking spreasheet for management review
  • archiving documents
  • Filing and maintaining original legal documentation
  • Provide ad-hoc support
  • Maintain tracking sheet of all documents / get yourself structured with data
  • Booking of the meeting rooms
  • Responsible for stationary & catering
  • Take incoming calls 
  • temporary assignment until end of October 2022 / might become permanent


Your Qualifications
 

  • 25/32 years of age
  • commercial education or bachelor degree
  • around 5 years of proven working experience as an Assistant in a very international company
  • proven experience of organisational skills
  • high level of proficiency with MS Office applications (Word / Excel / PP)
  • Excellent English skills, German is an advantage
  • ability to professionally and sociably deal with intercultural teams
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • hands-on mentality

HEAD OF BUSINESS PERFORMANCE & ANALYTICS / GROUP CONTROLLER (ENERGY/RENEWABLES)

Our client is a highly successful global player in the Zurich area, pursuing its expansion strategy. On his behalf we are looking for a highly analytical and dynamic talent from the ENERGY / GAS  / RENEWABLE industry, who is fit to work across matrix organizations.  ....


The role requires perfect understanding of Business Performance, Controlling & Analytics within the energy industry. The role holder is expected to be able to manage and execute Controlling tasks, Business Performance & Analytics and offer support to the Group CFO.
 


Your Challenge

 

In the capacity of group controller, oversee performance of Group Consolidation, controlling and technical IFRS accounting advice teams, with a special focus on ensuring:

  • Seamless preparation of the monthly, quarterly, annually consolidated financial IFRS statements
  • Presenting the financial performance to the Executive Board and Board of Directors
  • Coordination of internal reporting of the subsidiaries and providing support for the subsidiaries in specific IFRS related accounting matters
  • Overseeing and steering the annual statutory financial statements process (70 subsidiaries)
  • Ensuring up to date implementation and compliance with group accounting policy
  • Supervising the audit process and discussing audit matters with the group and local auditors
  • Partnering with the Chief Digital Transformation Officer to drive process excellence and digitalization across all group reporting and related processes including data structure and systems harmonization as required
  • Enable and help drive migrations to Accounting Competence Centre from all main subsidiaries
  • Maintaining and improving the Internal Control System (ICS) environment
  • Overseeing the establishment of non-financial reporting (ESG) in close collaboration with Treasury and GCFO
  • Business owner of the ERP system

In the capacity of Head of Group Performance Management and Business Analysis
Establish and maintain a first class business performance management framework with a focus on providing in depth understanding and insight to steer businesses at divisional level (building on work started with divisional and key profit centre CFOs), includingCreating a robust, efficient and insight driven business analysis framework including

  • clarity on KPI and APIs (financial and non-financial) to assess performance)
  • Managing and steering improvement of the annual group planning and budgeting cycle
  • Enhancing and clarifying the forecasting and latest estimate framework and process around business performance
  • Establish a framework for dynamic working capital allocation across the group in close collaboration with Treasury
  • Leading a team

Partner with CDTO to sustainably digitalize and advance all performance related process including

  • Clearing the path towards advanced predictive analytics
  • Establishing the use of digital delivery channels for all reporting information
  • Automation of basic business analytics

Overall, support Group CFO as community leader to

  • Drive a sustainable and respectful culture and ways of works towards making “the Finance a world class place to work”
  • Strengthen and proactively drive diversity and inclusiveness within Finance
  • Proactively ensure communication with the subsidiary CFO’s and the managers of other functional departments of the Group (such as Treasury, Risk Management, IT, Legal, HR,)

 

Your qualifications
 

  • Bachelor / Master in Business Administration, Banking & Finance or similar 
  • Several years of senior Finance experience / Head of Business Performance & Group Controlling
  • exposure in the energy, gas, renewable industry is a must
  • strong exposure in Mathematics, Valuation, Modelling would be an advantage
  • strong IT skills (Microsoft & ERP Systems)
  • strong experience in Audit & Analytics
  • Strong financial skills, attention to details and presentation skills
  • enterpreneurial thinking, highly dynamic, flexible and thinking out of the box
  • highly intellectual, fast learner, strong social skills
  • Fluent in English / other European languages are a big plus
  • Swiss National, B permit or other
